Functions of the County Attorney:

Criminal

Responsible for prosecution of violations of state laws and county ordinances.  These cases begin with the local law enforcement agencies and are under the jurisdiction of the District Court.

Civil

Provides legal advice and representation to County departments.

Juvenile

Responsible for the prosecution of juvenile delinquency cases and minors in need of assistance cases.
